Ground Training

My Ground Training work involves an intimate understanding of your animal’s natural and individual history. Your pet has plenty of potential to learn and understand commands, and my techniques will lay the foundation for you to build upon. I combine your needs and wants with the natural attributes of your pet.

Dog Training

My very own - Patrick & Willow

I have a 7 year old black Labrador (Patrick) and a 10 year old Golden Retriever (Willow). Willow appeared on the stage at the Madinat Theatre in Annie! She has a fan club too. Patrick is also going to be a star.

Why choose DVEC solutions?

I am blessed to be recommended by so many of my clients as well as two vets in the area and the wonderful K9. I am the assessor for all the dogs for the "Reading Dogs of the UAE" where dogs are used in schools to help children gain confidence in reading. It is a wonderful initiative and was fortunate to be interviewed on the radio for Dubai Eye and more recently HitFM - I have a face for radio :) We have also just finished a commercial for a well-known bank.

I used to breed Labradors for many years, back in the UK as well as training. I am afraid I have been around a lot longer than Cesar Milan or many other of the televised vets and celebrities. I trained at Esher College in Equine and Canine Behaviour and Psychology. My methods do not involve any physical or vocal (ie shouting) punishment. Not only does it not work and has been proven not to, we humans end up feeling terrible (quite rightly so)!

What does the training involve?

I cover all types of training:

* House training

* Basic obedience

* Lead work

* Aggression

* Barking

* Anxiety

I am a victim of my own success as most people never need more than one visit, providing and this is the crucial part, you can take on board my advice and the "Golden Rules". I do ask for the human partners to strictly adhere to things, so that the canine members know exactly what is black and white, it is only when we stray into "grey" areas that the problems arise. This is tried and tested for many years. I would love to work with you and look forward to hearing from you. I can come to your house. It really will only be one time you will need me or two at the most. Unless you prefer to have more!
